When there, for the first time during cny and the food was great and the staff was fantastic with everything.
Even though, with some staff due to hiring part time there was language barrier.
Second time, round and being in the afternoon it is great.
Their recommended dish, is peking duck.
Went there on Mother's Day. Despite a lean number of staff, service was pretty good despite the restaurant being fully booked. Luckily the $44 peking duck (50% offer) was still on the menu. The duck skin was crispy and meat was soft and easy to chew. The prawn broth had good amounts of herbs in there. The veg and fish dishes were good too. Their yee fu noodles was cooked well too; wet but not overly soggy. An enjoyable meal. Gave restaurant 5 stars as mom was able to enjoy the duck.
This place is fantastic for holding a Chinese wedding dinner. The price package for wedding dinners are also very affordable compared to hotels, and the menu is fantastic; many wedding guests have complimented the food!
The restaurant manager, Ruel, is especially helpful, and goes above and beyond to fulfil any requirements that we had. From the menu selection, decor, and the day itself, he was helping every step of the way. In fact, the whole positive experience was only made possible with him around.
All in all, would highly recommend this place, even for a normal meal.
We celebrated our friend's birthday over there, the food was surprisingly great especially the stir fried shark fin, every bite was with wokhey. The presentation of tofu soup was decent and was really a gungfu dish, just felt like having a fine dining. Bamboo calms were cooked with two flavours - wine and garlic, not only tasty but the doneness and serving temperature were just perfect. And I am surprised the pork rib green curry was so good in a Chinese restaurant. They put birthday bun with dessert which was 反沙薯 (sweet potato tossed with sugar), chef used 3 different kind of sweet potato and gave diversity of sweetness. We can really feel how hearty of the chefs and they should be good on fusion food, and ambience is nice too, will definitely revisit again.
Attended a birthday celebration dinner. We had the set dinner. The restaurant is situated in the NSRCC club. The ambience is modern and not too loud. The first dish is the shark fin soup with wanton. Verdict is good. The second dish is the fried lobster in pumpkin sauce. It tuned out flat. The lobster is probably frozen and is fried to mask the taste. We also had the abalone with mushroom. Average at best. Next is the teriyaki chicken. They give a generous portion but taste is average. We also had the noodle with meat. This is good. Dessert is Orh Nee which is a tad too sweet. If you have no where better to go, give it a try.
